Cal State LA Athletics

Miguel Tudela was a member of the 1980 United States Olympic Team  and a U.S. Collegiate champion. He was also the captain of the judo team while at Cal State L.A.

Tudela won a bronze medal at the 1979 Pan Am Games and he was a United States champion in 1979, 1980 and 1983. He was the National Sports Festival champion in 1979 and 1981 and a member of the U.S. World Team. In 1982, he won the U.S. open championship.

He was in the U.S. Army from 1974-76 and won a U.S. Armed Forces title in 1976.
