Howard Kindig

Howard Kindig was an All-California Collegiate Athletic Association end on Cal State L.A.’s 1964 national championship team. He was an All-Marine Corps pick in 1962 and was a Little All-America and All-Coast selection in 1964.

He led Cal State L.A. with nine receptions and four touchdowns catches in 1964.

He went on to play professionally in the National Football League and American Football League for 10 years, appearing in 112 games and starting nine times. He played for the San Diego Chargers of the AFL, the Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets. He was a member of the 1972 Miami Dolphins team that went undefeated en route to a Super Bowl championship.
