Cal State LA Athletics

2014: Had another strong season for the Golden Eagles in his second and final year with the program. Appeared in seven games and played a total of 158 minutes. Had one assist and one point. Had an assist on a goal by Sigifredo Torres in an 8-1 win over Saint Martin's on Sept. 6. Made his season debut and played 19 minutes in a 3-0 win over Western Washington on Sept. 4. Played a season-high 32 minutes in a 1-0 win over Point Loma on Sept. 12. For his career, appeared in 15 games with eight starts. Played a total of 514 minutes.Had one goal and one assist for three points.

2013: Made a strong impression in his first year with the program before injuries cut his season short. Made eight appearances, all starts, for the Golden Eagles. Played a total of 356 minutes. Made his Cal State L.A. debut in a 3-0 win against Azusa Pacific on Sept. 5 and scored his first goal for the Golden Eagles in a 6-1 win over Saint Martin’s on Sept. 8. Made his final start of the season in a 2-1 win over Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 29.

At Cosumnes River College: Earned All-Conference honors both seasons and was a team Most Valuable Player as a sophomore.

At Tokay High School: Was a four-year starter and earned All-League and team Most Valuable Player awards.

Personal: Son of Manuel and Bente Gonzalez. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys playing soccer and hanging out with friends. Lists going to the Final Four in regionals as his most exciting experience in sports.
