2015: Had another outstanding season in his final year with the program. Appeared in 19 games and started 16 times. Played a total of 1,046 minutes. Had two goals and one assist for five points. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention.Had a goal and an assist in a 5-0 win over Hawaii-Hilo on Oct. 7. Had the game-winning goal in a 3-1 win over UC San Diego in a first-round CCAA Tournament game on Nov. 3. Played a season-high 82 minutes at Cal Poly Pomona in a CCAA Tournament semi-final on Nov. 6. For his career, appeared in 43 games with 37 starts. Played a total of 2,220 minutes. Had four goals and two assists for 10 points.

2014: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles and earned first-team All-CCAA and second-team All-West Region honors. Started all 21 games for Cal State L.A. and was outstanding in the midfield. Had one goal and one assist for three points. Scored the second goal in a 2-0 win at Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 5 and assisted on the team’s biggest goal of the season, Jordan Payne’s overtime game-winner in a 1-0 victory at Seattle Pacific in the NCAA Division II West Region championship match on Nov. 20. Was sixth on the team in minutes played with 1,120.

2013: Battled through injuries in his first season with the Golden Eagles and was limited to three games. Played a total of 54 minutes. Scored the first goal in a 3-2 win at Humboldt State on Oct. 6. Finished the season with one goal and two points. Made his Cal State L.A. debut in a 3-0 win over Azusa Pacific on Sept. 5.

At Golden West College: Earned second-team All-Conference honors. Team advanced to the Final Four in 2012.

At Los Amigos High School: Earned first-team All-League honors.

Personal: Son of Guadalupe Almaraz and Teodora Reyes. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys soccer. Lists winning the 2014 NCAA West Region championship as his most exciting experience in sports.
