2015: Had his best season with the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in all 20 games with 13 starts. Played a total of 1,179 minutes. Had one assist for one points. Picked up the assist on a go-ahead goal by Troy Dumlao in the 68th minute of a 2-0 win over Sonoma State on Sept. 18. Made his first career start for the Golden Eagles and played 42 minutes in a 4-0 win at Saint Martin's on Sept. 5. Played a career-high 110 minutes in an NCAA playoff game against Stanislaus State on Nov. 12. For his career, appeared in 30 games with 13 starts. Played a total of 1,449 minutes. Had one assist for one point.

2014: Had a solid season for the Golden Eagles as a backup midfielder. Appeared in a total of 10 games. Played a total of 270 minutes. Made his Cal State L.A. debut and played 35 minutes in a 3-0 win over Western Washington on Sept. 4.

2013: Joined the Cal State L.A. program, but did not compete in any games and was a redshirt.

At Warren High School: Earned second-team All-CIF Division 2 honors and first-team All-League honors. Was a key part of a team that won a CIF Division 2 championship. Was a Distinguished Graduate. Competed in soccer, tennis and football.

Personal: Son of Carlos and Elsa Herrerias. Majoring in business. Enjoys working.  Lists winning a CIF championship and an NCAA West Region championship as his most exciting experiences in sports.
