2015: Had a solid season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in 15 games with two starts. Played a total of 487 minutes. Had one assist and one point. Had an assist on the game-winning goal by Troy Dumlao in the 79th minute of a 1-0 win at San Francisco State on Oct. 16. Made his season debut and played 30 minutes in a 1-1 tie at Western Washington on Sept. 3. Got his first start of the season and played 46 minutes in the win at San Francisco State. Played a season-high 58 minutes in a 5-0 win over Hawaii-Hilo on Oct. 7. For his career, appeared in 36 games with 22 starts. Played a total of 1,484 minutes. Had one assist for one point.

2014: Did not compete for the Golden Eagles because of injury.

2013: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in all 21 games with 20 starts as a midfielder. Played a total of 997 minutes. Made his first appearance and start for the Golden Eagles in a 3-0 win over Azusa Pacific on Sept. 5. Played a season-high 70 minutes in a 0-0 tie at Sonoma State on Oct. 4. Was instrumental in a defensive effort that helped the Golden Eagles set a new program record for fewest goals allowed in a season and rank fifth nationally in goals against average.

At Cosumnes River College: Was a team captain and earned first-team All-Big 8 Conference honors. Was a first selection to the Sophomore Showcase.

At Will C. Wood High School: Was the Monticello Empire League Most Valuable Player and the team Most Valuable Player as a junior and senior.

Personal: Son of Cuauhtemoc and Ignacia Bucio. Majoring in communications/public relations. Enjoys music, watching movies and socializing with friends. Lists being part of Cal State L.A.’s 2013 CCAA Championship team and being named his team’s most motivational player at Cosumnes River College by his teammates as his most exciting experience in sports.
