Cal State LA Athletics

2014: Had a second tremendous season with the Golden Eagles to complete his two-year career with the program. Appeared in 21 games with six starts. Played a total of 767 minutes. Had five goals and two assists for 12 points. Was fourth on the team in scoring. Scored two goals in a 4-0 win at Cal State East Bay on Oct. 26. Had a goal and two assists in an 8-1 win over Saint Martin's on Sept. 6. Also scored a goal in the Golden Eagles' season-opening 2-0 win over Western Washington on Sept. 4. Had the game-winning goal in the 66th minute of a 1-0 second-round NCAA playoff victory at Azusa Pacific on Nov. 15. For his career, appeared in 41 games with 26 starts. Played a total of 1,780 minutes. Had 12 goals and seven assists for 31 points.

2013: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles. Earned second-team All-West Region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and Daktronics and also received All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Was named the Offensive Most Valuable Player in the CCAA Championship Tournament. Led the Golden Eagles in scoring with seven goals and five assists for 19 points. Had a pair of big goals against UC San Diego late in the season. Scored the game-winner in the CCAA championship game in the 85^th minute of a 1-0 victory on Nov. 10. Also scored the equalizer in the 83^rd minute of a 1-1 tie in La Jolla on Nov. 3. Picked up an assist in a 2-1 conference tournament win over Sonoma State on Nov. 8.  Had a smashing Cal State L.A. debut and scored two goals in a season-opening 3-0 win over Azusa Pacific on Sept. 5. Also picked up the game-tying goal in the 80^th minute of a 3-2 win at Humboldt State on Oct. 6 and had the second goal in a 2-0 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 20. Had two assists in a 6-1 win over Saint Martin’s on Sept. 8.

At Tusculum College: Was the team’s leading scorer with four goals and three assists for 11 points. Was on the South Atlantic Conference’s honor roll and the Athletic Director’s roll.

At Jensen Gymnasium: Played club soccer with Mossens BK and was a two-time MVP.

Personal: Son of Carl-Ian and Erica Bissmark. Majoring in business. Enjoys soccer and being among friends. Lists scoring the winning goal in an All-Region final in Sweden as his most exciting experience in sports.
