Cal State LA Athletics

2015: Had a second strong season with the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in 20 games and started four times. Played a total of 914 minutes. Had one assist for one point. Picked up the assist on a goal by Troy Dumlao in a 2-0 win over Sonoma State on Sept. 18. Made his first career start for the Golden Eagles and played 64 minutes against UC San Diego on Oct. 4. Started and played a season-high 77 minutes in a 5-0 win over Hawaii-Hilo on Oct. 7. For his career, appeared in 41 games with four starts. Played a total of 1,711 minutes. Had one goal and one assist for three points. 

2014: Had a solid first season with the Golden Eagles and was a top midfielder off the bench. Appeared in all 21 games and played a total of 797 minutes. Had one goal for the season, scoring the third goal in a 4-1 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 20. Played significant minutes in all four NCAA playoff games for the Golden Eagles.

At University of Charleston: Appeared in 30 games over two seasons with the NCAA Division II program in West Virginia. Had five goals and 11 points in the two years. Earned first-team All-Conference and first-team All-Region honors. Team won conference and regional championships.

At St. Joseph’s Academy: Team won five league championships, three district championships and was a national semi-finalist.

Personal: Son of John and Sheila Elliott. Majoring in finance. Enjoys boxing and golf. Lists playing in the FA Youth Cup at 16 years old for Sunderland AFC as his most exciting experience in sports.
