At Cabrillo College: Earned first-team All-Conference honors and was a pre-season All-American. Had a 5-4 record with a 2.65 earned run average. Made 14 appearances and 11 starts. Led the team with 71 1/3 innings pitched. Also pitched for one season at San Jose City College. Had a 1-1 record with a 4.23 earned run average. Made 10 appearances and three starts. Had 23 strikeouts in 27 2/3 innings pitched. Went to Cabrillo after San Jose dropped its program.

At Soquel High School: Earned first-team All-League honors three times and was the All-County Pitcher of the Year as a junior.

Personal: Son of Wayne and Lauri Morgan. Majoring in business-entrepreneurship. Enjoys disc golf, golf and wakeboarding. Lists playing high school baseball in Maui as his most exciting experience in sports. Has a cousin, Natalie, who plays volleyball at Oregon State and a sister, Bria, who plays volleyball at Hawaii Hilo.
