2012: Made significant contributions for the Golden Eagles in his second and final season with the program. Appeared in 20 games with 13 starts. Hit .275 with 14 hits in 51 at bats. Had two home runs, three doubles, 12 runs batted in and seven runs scored. Went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run and a career-high five RBI in a 20-6 win at Biola on Feb. 13. Hit a second-inning grand slam and drove in the other run on a groundout. Went 2-for-4 with two runs and three RBI in a 10-6 win against Cal State Stanislaus on Feb. 18. Hit a three-run home run in the third inning. Had a season-high three hits in four at bats against Cal State Stanislaus on Feb. 19. Had three multi-hit games. For his career, appeared in 42 games with 27 starts. Hit .231 with 24 hits in 104 at bats. Had four home runs, six doubles, 15 runs scored and 19 RBI.

2011: Appeared in 22 games and started 14 times for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Hit .189 with two home runs, seven RBI and eight runs scored. Had two hits, including a two-run home run against Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 26. Had a solo home run against UC San Diego on April 1. Drove in two runs and scored twice at Cal State Stanislaus on May 1.
 
At Long Beach City College: Hit .236 with 17 hits in 72 at bats in 2010. Scored nine runs and drove in two. Only made four errors and had a fielding percentage of .951. Was on the school’s Honor Roll.
 
At Golden West College: Hit .268 with 11 hits in 41 at bats. Scored 10 runs and drove in two. Had a pair of doubles. Had an on-base percentage of .392. Was on the school’s Honor Roll.
 
At Los Alamitos High School: Earned the team’s Blue Collar Award for being the hardest worker and was on the school’s Honor Roll.
 
Personal: Son of Ken and Gayle Compton. Majoring in business management. Enjoys beach volleyball, golf and guitar. Lists making the CIF playoffs in his senior year as his most exciting experience in sports. Has a twin brother, Brian, on the Golden Eagle roster.
