2011: Did not compete for the Golden Eagles and was a red-shirt.
 
At St. Bonaventure High School: Was a four-year varsity starter. Earned All-Tri Valley League honors all four years. Received All-Ventura County honors as a sophomore, junior and senior and earned All-CIF honors as a senior in 2010. Was the team’s Most Valuable Player and earned the team award for best defense. Was St. Bonaventure’s Marine Male Athlete of the Year. As a senior in 2010, hit better than .300 and had five home runs, 26 RBI and 21 runs scored.
 
Personal: Son of Mike and Socorro Trejo. Majoring in business administration/finance. Enjoys working out and off-roading. Lists hitting a walk-off grand slam home run in a 5-4 win in high school as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he has three brothers, Mike, Steve and James and one sister, Alicia.
