Cal State LA Athletics

2010: Made contributions for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 12 games. Hit .333 with one hit in three at bats. Scored three runs and had one run batted in. Also stole a base in his only attempt. Went 1-for-1 with a run scored and one RBI in the nightcap of a doubleheader against Chico State on April 10.  Also scored a run against Cal State San Bernardino on Feb. 28 and scored a run at Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 27.

At Los Angeles City College: Earned All-Conference honorable mention both seasons with the program and was a 2008 Fall Classic All-Star participant. Hit .336 as a sophomore in 2009 with 41 hits in 122 at bats.

At Fairfax High School: Was a four-year varsity member. Earned second-team All-League honors as a junior and senior.

Personal: Son of Linda Espinoza. Majoring in history. Enjoys skateboarding. Lists playing in Dodger Stadium during a summer league championship game as his most exciting experience in sports.
