2010: Made big contributions for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Made a team-high 24 appearances on the mound, including three starts. Had a 6-3 record with a 7.04 earned run average and three saves. Had 38 walks and 38 strikeouts in 46 innings pitched. Led the team in wins and saves. Pitched 2 1/3 innings of scoreless relief and got his first win of the season in an 8-6 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Feb. 11. Pitched a season-long five innings and got the win in his first start of the season against Cal State Stanislaus on Feb. 20. Gave up two hits and two runs while walking three and striking out four. Pitched 3 2/3 scoreless innings and matched a season-high with four strikeouts at Cal State San Bernardino on Feb. 25. Pitched the final inning and didn't allow a run to save a 5-4 win at Cal State Monterey Bay on March 14, one day after pitching 2 1/3 hitless innings with three strikeouts to get the win in a 3-2 victory against the Otters. Pitched three scoreless innings to get the win in a 7-6 victory at Cal Poly Pomona on April 3. Pitched two scoreless innings to get a save in an 11-9 win over Chico State on April 10 and pitched a hitless ninth inning with two strikeouts to get a save in a 2-1 win at UC San Diego on April 15..

At Compton Junior College: Earned second-team All-South Coast Conference honors. Had a 7-2 record with a 4.16 earned run average. Made 16 starts and had 87 strikeouts in 80 innings pitched. Led the conference in strikeouts and winning percentage.

At John F. Kennedy High School: Competed in baseball.

Personal: Son of Steve and Donna Stropoli. Is an undeclared major. Enjoys lifting weights, hanging out with friends and listening to music. Lists leading the SCC in strikeouts and getting to be on the field with the teams in the World Baseball Classic as his most exciting experiences in sports.
