Biography

At Pierce Junior College: Earned second-team All-Conference honors in 2008 as a freshman. Went 3-2 with a 4.83 earned run average. Compiled a 2-2 record and struck out 22 batters in 21 innings as a sophomore.
 
At Palisades High School: Was an All-City pitcher in 2007 and an All-City designated hitter in 2006. Was on the school’s Dean’s List and Principal’s Honor Roll.
 
Personal: Son of Mike and Kathleen Bromberg. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys poker and working out. Lists getting drafted twice in 2007 (32nd round) and 2008 (49th round) as his most exciting experiences in sports. Has an older brother, David, in the Minnesota Twins’ organization. He has led the league in strikeouts the past three years.
