2010: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program.

2009: Appeared in 12 games and started once for the Golden Eagles. Had six official at bats and walked twice. Drove in a run at Grand Canyon on Feb. 14 and scored a run against Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 27. Recorded one putout in the outfield at Chico State on March 7.

At Palomar Junior College: Earned first-team All-Pacific Conference honors and led the team in hitting with a .363 batting average. Also led the team in runs scored with 41.

At Mission Hills High School: Earned first-team All-League honors as a junior and senior. Was the team’s Best Offensive Player as a senior and named the team captain. Was an All-North County Academic-Scholar as a senior. Was a three-year varsity player.

Personal: Son of Rey and Linda Rodriguez. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys the beach, fishing and wakeboarding. Lists hitting a home run in the junior college All-Star game at UC Irvine as his most exciting experience in sports.
