2010: Had another strong season for the Golden Eagles in his third and final year with the program. Appeared in 45 games with 37 starts. Hit .225 with 32 hits in 142 at bats. Had three home runs, five doubles, 16 runs scored and 15 runs batted in. Also made one appearance on the mound and gave up two runs in one inning. Was 0-0 with an 18.00 earned run average with one walk and one strikeout. Hit a two-run home run at Cal State San Bernardino on Feb. 25. Slugged a two-run home run at Chico State on April 9. Went 3-for-5 with two RBI against Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 26. Went 3-for-4 with one RBI against UC San Diego in the opener of a doubleheader on April 17 and hit a solo home run in the nightcap. Also had three hits in an 11-10 win over Sonoma State on April 25. Had six multi-hit games. For his career, appeared in 143 games with 132 starts. Hit .287 with 144 hits in 502 at bats. Had 12 home runs, 30 doubles, one triple, 90 runs scored and 94 RBI. Signed a professional contract with the independent Florence Freedom of the Frontier League.

2009: Had a second productive season for the Golden Eagles as a junior. Hit .309 with one home run, 29 RBI and 37 runs scored. Appeared in 48 games and started 47 times. Was third on the team in run scored. Had 54 hits in 175 at bats. Was outstanding on defense and committed only two errors in 421 chances for a .995 fielding percentage. Drove in the game-winning run with a walk-off double in a 6-5 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Feb. 10. Tied a career high with four RBI against Cal State San Bernardino on March 14. Drove in three runs in games at UC San Diego on Feb. 28 and at home against Cal State Stanislaus on April 11. Slugged his only home run of the season at UC San Diego in the Feb. 28 game. Had five three-hit games. Collected three hits and scored three runs at Chico State on March 8. Hit safely in 33 of 48 games.

2008: Was a key member of the Golden Eagles’ starting lineup as a sophomore. Appeared in 50 games and started 48 times. Hit .314 with eight home runs and 50 runs batted in. Collected 58 hits in 185 at bats. Was tied for second on the team in home runs and was second in RBI. Also scored 37 runs, which was tied for third on the team. Ended the season with a 12-game hitting streak. Hit safely in 20 of the final 21 games to raise his average from .245 to .314. Went 4-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI at Cal State San Bernardino in the second game of the streak on April 19. Also had a three-hit game with three RBI against Cal Poly Pomona on April 26. Had 22 hits in 46 at bats in final 12 games. Hit his first home run for the Golden Eagles at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Feb. 8. Had season-high four RBI in games against Chico State on Feb. 23 and Cal State Monterey Bay on March 28. Handled 435 chances with only seven errors at first base. Earned an All-CCAA Academic Award.

At East L.A. Junior College: Had four home runs, 35 runs batted in and one stolen base in his one season in junior college.

At Bassett High School: Earned All-Montview League honors in 2004 and 2005 and participated in the San Gabriel Valley All-Star game. Was the team’s Rookie of the Year in 2003. Was an Honor Roll student. Competed in baseball and soccer.

Personal: Son of Max and Sonia Moya. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys weight lifting, the beach and spending time with friends and family. Lists playing baseball in Mexico and Canada as his most exciting experiences in sports.
