Biography

2008: Got immediate playing time in his one year with the program. Appeared in 22 games and started six times. Hit .182 with six hits in 33 at bats. Had four runs scored and two runs batted in. Made his Cal State L.A. debut and first start and scored a run in three at bats in a 10-8 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Feb. 2. Drove in his first run of the season against Vanguard on March 17. Went 2-for-4 with a run scored in an 11-3 win over Concordia on March 25. Went 1-for-1 with an RBI in a 12-7 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on March 28. 

At Corona del Mar High School: Earned honorable mention All-League honors after posting a .320 batting average. Was named his team’s Defensive Player of the Year.
