Cal State LA Athletics

2008: Made contributions to the pitching staff in his one year with the program. Made six appearances, including one start. Went 0-2 with an 18.00 earned run average. Had 10 walks and four strikeouts in six innings pitched. Made his Cal State L.A. debut and allowed two runs over a season-high three innings pitched against Azusa Pacific on Feb. 5. Struck out two. Retired a batter in a scoreless effort at Cal State Stanislaus on March 1. Gave up one run in one inning with two walks and two strikeouts against Vanguard on March 17 in his final appearance for the program.

At Riverside City College: Competed as a pitcher for the state championship team in 2007.

At Kansas Newman University: Pitched for the Jets as a freshman in 2006.

At Rubidoux HS: Competed in baseball and football and earned All-League honors in both sports. Earned All-Tournament honors in baseball and was the Coca-Cola Athlete of the Year.

Personal: Son of Debra Stokley. Majoring in business marketing. Enjoys music, extreme sports, puzzles, thinking and socializing. Lists winning the California Junior College World Series championship in 2007 as his most exciting experience in sports.
