Cal State LA Athletics

2008: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 51 games and started 50 times. Hit .391 with 75 hits in 192 at bats. Had 13 home runs, 12 doubles, 49 runs scored and 66 runs batted in. Led the team in hits, home runs, runs scored and RBI. Earned first-team All-West Region honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. Also received first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors and led the CCAA in RBI. Went 4-for-5 with a season-high four RBI in an 11-3 win over Concordia on March 25. Also had a home run and four RBI in a 10-6 win at San Francisco State on May 4. Went 4-for-5 with a double and three RBI against Sonoma State on April 4. Hit a three-run home run in the game. Went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Feb. 9.  Had 22 multi-hit games, including eight with three or more hits.

At Oral Roberts University: Hit .259 in 2007 as a junior. Collected 14 hits in 54 at bats. Appeared in 28 games and started 11 times. Scored nine runs and drove in 10. Did not commit an error in 20 fielding chances.

At Sacramento City College: Earned second-team All-Big 7 Conference honors in 2006 after hitting .298 with three home runs and 29 RBI. Scored 29 runs and had 51 hits in 171 at bats as the leadoff hitter. Helped team reach the state tournament championships. Hit .244 in 29 games as a freshman.

At Galt High School: Hit .462 as a senior in 27 games with a .890 slugging percentage.
