Summary

Biography

2019: Saw increased playing time for the Golden Eagles in his second and final season with the program. Contributed at the plate and on the mound for the Golden Eagles. Made nine appearances on the mound and recorded two saves. Also hit .167 with six hits in 36 at bats. Had one home run, six runs batted in and four runs scored. Went 2-for-5 with a double, home run and two RBI in the opener of a doubleheader against Cal Poly Pomona on March 1. Went 1-for-2 with two RBI in a 12-6 win against Cal State East Bay on April 28. In his second appearance on the mound, pitched the final inning and got the save in a 4-1 win at Cal Poly Pomona on Feb. 28. Picked up his second save by pitching a scoreless inning to preserve a 4-3 win against Stanislaus State on March 17. Pitched two scoreless innings to pick up the win in a 7-6 victory over Cal State San Marcos on April 14. For his career, appeared in 30 games with 15 starts. Hit .188 with 12 hits in 64 at bats. On the mound, went 1-2 with an 8.18 earned run average and two saves. Pitched a total of 12 innings and walked eight while striking out 10. 

2018: Appeared in 11 games with five starts in his first year with the program. Hit .214 with six hits in 28 at bats. Scored one run and drove in two. Went 3-for-3 with three doubles and one RBI in a win at Cal Poly Pomona on March 11. Went 1-for-4 with a run scored and one RBI in a win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 17. Threw out three of seven basestealers.
 
At Riverside City College: Hit .270 with an on-base percentage of .340 with two home runs and 30 RBI in two seasons.
 
At Cajon High School: Hit .417 with an on-base percentage of .549 as a senior. Earned All-County honors and All-CIF honorable mention as a senior. Earned first-team All-League honors as a junior and senior. Competed in baseball and football.
 
Personal: Son of Robert and Joann Grande. Majoring in history. Enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing some basketball and good game. Lists beating No. 1 seed Saddleback College in the first round of the playoffs as a No. 18 seed and hitting his first college home run against Cypress College earlier that season as his most exciting experiences in sports. Notes he has two older siblings (one brother and one sister) and one younger brother.
