Cal State LA Athletics

2019: Was a big contributor and one of the team's best pitchers in his one year with the program. Made 12 appearances with eight starts and pitched a total of 55 innings. Had a 3-5 record with a 7.04 earned run average and one save. Walked 17 and struck out 49. Was third on the team in strikeouts. Allowed only four hits and one run over 6 1/3 innings to pick up his first win with the Golden Eagles, a 4-1 victory at Cal Poly Pomona on Feb. 28. Went a season-long eight innings and gave up only one earned run to get the win in a 10-4 victory over Stanislaus State on March 15. Gave up only one hit over the final 4 1/3 innings and struck out 10 to pick up a victory in an 11-5 victory over UC San Diego on April 18. Allowed five hits and two runs over the final four innings of a 6-4 victory at Chico State on March 24 to pick up his lone save of the season.

At Southeastern University: Had a 1-0 record with a 3.20 earned run average and one save as a junior. Recorded 20 strikeouts in 19 2/3 innings pitched.

At Canada College: Threw a total of 62 innings over two seasons. Tossed 34 2/3 innings as a sophomore and struck out 26 with a 3.89 ERA. Threw 27 1/3 innings as a freshman with 23 strikeouts and a 3.29 ERA.

Personal: Son of Mike and Tina Moisant. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys hiking, exercising, watching movies, video games and eating. Lists winning the 2018 NAIA World Series as his most exciting experience in sports.
