Cal State LA Athletics

2019: Had a second outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in 32 games and started 30 times. Hit .333 with 39 hits in 117 at bats. Scored 21 runs and drove in 16. Earned CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 honors. Went 3-for-6 with a career-high three RBI in a 12-6 win over Cal State East Bay on April 28. Was 2-for-4 with a career-high three runs scored against Colorado Mesa on Feb. 10. Finished the season riding a nine-game hitting streak and had two three-hit games in the final two contests of the season against Cal State East Bay on April 27-28. Had 12 multi-hit games. Picked up the athletic department’s Academic Achievement Award (male) for 2018-19. For his career, appeared in 73 games and started 69 times. Hit .305 with 81 hits in 266 at bats. Scored 46 runs and had 34 RBI. 
 
2018: Was one of the team’s top players in his first year with the program. Appeared in 41 games with 39 starts. Hit .282 with 42 hits in 149 at bats. Scored 25 runs and drove in 18. Had a season-high three hits in three games. Went 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBI in a win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 17. Went 3-for-5 with one run scored and one RBI in a win against Chico State on March 29. Went 3-for-5 with two runs scored in a win at Cal State San Bernardino on May 4. Had 13 multi-hit games.
 
At Cabrillo College: Appeared in 20 games and hit .303 with 20 hits in 66 at bats in 2017. Scored eight runs and drove in six. Appeared in 30 games in 2016 and had one home run and eight RBI.
 
At San Lorenzo Valley High School: Earned All-State honors in 2014 and was an All-County Most Valuable Player and league Most Valuable Player. Hit .421 and had a 0.24 earned run average on the mound. Also played four years of football and competed in basketball, soccer and disc golf.
 
Personal: Son of Guy Peabody and Michele Warren. Majoring in accounting. Enjoys golfing, hiking and reading. Lists receiving MVP of the SCCAL after a season filled with great teammates and personal success as his most exciting experience in sports.
