Summary

Biography

2019: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in 45 games and started all of them. Hit .323 with 52 hits in 161 at bats. Had three home runs and 26 runs batted in. Was second on the team in runs scored with 39. Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Went 2-for-3 with a home run and a career-high four RBI in a 15-10 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 9. Went 3-for-5 with a career-high three runs scored in a 9-3 win over San Francisco State on March 29. Had 18 multi-hit games, including three three-hit games. For his career, appeared in 70 games and started 57 times. Hit .295 with 59 hits in 200 at bats. Had three home runs, 27 RBI and 47 runs scored.

2018: Returned from injury and contributed to the Cal State LA program. Appeared in 23 games with 12 starts. Hit .179 with seven hits and eight runs scored in 39 at bats. Had a pair of two-hit games. Went 2-for-2 with two runs scored against British Columbia on Feb. 17. Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored at UC San Diego on April 27. Drove in a run with a sacrifice fly at Cal State East Bay on Feb. 25.

2017: Suffered an arm injury while pitching to one batter at California Baptist on Feb. 3 and didn’t pitch again. Made an appearance pinch-running on Feb. 11.

At Mt. San Antonio College: Appeared in 56 games during his two-year career with the Mounties. Had 23 runs scored.

At El Dorado High School: Won a tournament championship in baseball in high school. Earned Rookie of the Year and Gold Glove awards from the team and was named to the National Classic All-Tournament Team.

Personal: Son of Elias and Andi Alam. Majoring in business-marketing. Lists winning the National Classic Tournament during his sophomore season in high school and playing in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament last year as his most exciting experience in sports.
