Biography

2023: Had a second outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Appeared in 44 games with 43 starts. Hit .275 with 42 hits in 153 at bats. Had three home runs, 20 runs batted in and 28 runs scored. Was second on the team with 19 walks and had a .379 on-base percentage, which was fourth on the team. Had a career-high four hits as part of a 4-for-5 day with two runs scored against Cal State San Bernardino on April 25. Had three hits, including a solo home run, and drove in a career-high four runs in a 13-2 win over Sonoma State in the nightcap of a doubleheader on April 15. Also hit a solo home run in the opener. Hit his first career home run, a two-run shot, at Cal Poly Pomona on April 7. Hit safely in 29 games and had nine multi-hit games. Earned 2022-23 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors and 2023 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition. For his career, appeared in 72 games with 61 starts. Hit .270 with 61 hits in 226 at bats. Hit three home runs with 35 RBI and 41 runs scored. 

2022: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in 28 games with 18 starts. Hit .260 with 15 runs batted in and 13 runs scored in 73 at bats. Had an on-base percentage of .345. Got the start and scored a run in his Cal State LA debut on Feb. 4. Went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI against Chico State on April 2. Went 3-for-5 with two RBI at San Francisco State on May 6. Had four multi-hit games and at least one hit in 13 games. Had a season-high three RBI twice. Went 1-for-2 with a double and three RBI and 1-for-4 with three runs and three RBI at Cal State San Marcos on March 6. Broke a 3-3 tie with a ninth-inning run-scoring single in a 4-3 win at San Francisco State on May 6. Earned 2021-22 CCAA All-Academic honors and 2022 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

At Mt. San Antonio College: Had two productive seasons with the Mounties. Hit .303 with an on-base percentage of .425 in 2019 and .275 with an on-base percentage of .420 in 2021.

At Chino Hills High School: Competed in baseball and football. Earned second-team All-League honors in baseball as a sophomore, second-team All-League honors in football as a sophomore and junior and first-team All-League honors in football as a senior.

Personal: Son of Anthony and Yolanda. Majoring in Kinesiology. Lists hitting a go-ahead RBI to win the game as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes his older brother played football and graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and his younger sister plays softball in high school and is committed to the University of Mississippi.
