2024: Made contributions once again for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in eight games with one start. Hit .222 with two hits in nine at bats. Scored two runs. Made his lone start of the season and went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored against Chico State on March 23. Made his season debut as a pinch hitter and collected a single at Cal State San Bernardino on March 16. For his career, appeared in 16 games with four starts. Hit .222 with four hits in 24 at bats. Scored four runs and drove in two. Earned California Collegiate Athletic Association 2024 Spring Honor Roll recognition.

2023: Made immediate contributions to the Golden Eagles as a true freshman in his first year with the program. Appeared in eight games with three starts. Made his Cal State LA debut and scored a run in a 15-2 win over Providence Christian on Feb. 2. Made his first start and went 1-for-3 with one RBI against Colorado School of Mines on Feb. 19. Went 1-for-4 in his second start against San Francisco State on April 1. Made only one error in 21 chances and had a fielding percentage of .952. Handled all nine chances without an error at second base against San Francisco State on April 1. Earned 2022-23 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors.

At Interamerican Academy: Was a part of a team that won championships in Ecuador from 2019-21.

Personal: Son of Alfonso Jalil. Majoring in business management. Enjoys golf. Lists playing for the Ecuadorian National Team and winning a championship as his most exciting experiences in sports.
