Summary

Biography

2024: Had an outstanding season in his one year with the program. Hit .351 with seven home runs, 35 runs batted in and 52 runs scored. Led the team in batting average, hits (73), runs scored, doubles (17) and at bats (208). Was eighth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in runs scored and ninth in hits. Earned All-CCAA honorable mention. Went 2-for-5 with a home run and season-high four RBI in a win over La Sierra on Feb. 16. Went 3-for-5 with a pair of home runs, three runs scored and three RBI at Cal State San Bernardino in the opener of a doubleheader on March 16. Went 3-for-6 with three RBI and three doubles against Chico State on March 22. Had a season-high four hits with a 4-for-4 performance against Chico State on March 23 and went 4-for-5 against Stanislaus State on May 3. Had three three-hit games and went 11-for-19 in a four-game series at San Francisco State on April 26-28. Hit safely in 40 of 50 games, including 21 multi-hit games and nine games with three or more hits.

At Chico State: Started in 69 games over two seasons with the Wildcats. Started 24 of 33 games as a junior in 2023 and was second on the team with a .330 batting average. Led with team with 10 doubles. Had a pair of four-hit games. Hit .362 for the Wildcats as a sophomore in 2022 and had 18 multi-hit games. Earned CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition in 2022.
At Cowley College: Helped lead the Tigers to the Junior College World Series in 2021. Was the team’s starting second baseman.

At San Pasqual High School: Earned first-team all-league honors in 2018 and 2019 and was named to All-CIF Tournament team both seasons. Was on the All-Star All-County team in 2019. Hit .344 and stole 54 bases in four varsity seasons and set a school record for games played. Led the Golden Eagles to the 2018 CIF San Diego Section Division IV championship.

Personal: Son of Damian and Tana Jackson. Majoring in business management. Enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, being a foodie and working out. Lists winning the 2018 CIF championship, the first title in school history, as his most exciting experience in sports. Says playing with teammates who played together since Little League was “pretty cool.” Notes the most impressive thing he’s ever accomplished was hitting four home runs in two days. Has learned by playing baseball that whether you tell yourself you can or you can’t do something, you’re probably right.
