Cal State LA Athletics

2024: Made three appearances for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Went 0-0 with a 15.43 earned run average over 2 1/3 innings. Had two scoreless outings in his three appearances. Made his Cal State LA debut and pitched 1 1/3 innings of hitless relief at Hawaii Pacific on Feb. 3. Gave up one hit and no runs in one inning at Sonoma State on April 12. Walked four and struck out two on the season.

At Chaffey College: Was injured for most of 2023. Made five appearances and had a 9.64 earned run average. Did not allow an earned run over his final four appearances. Made seven appearances in 2022 and pitched a total of 11 1/3 innings with a 6.35 earned run average.

At Northview High School: Did not make varsity until his senior season. Had a 0.00 earned run average in three appearances on the mound and also hit .333 at the plate.

Personal: Son of Anthony and Samantha Bautista. Majoring in business. Enjoys golfing and video games. Lists pitching in front of 5,000 fans on the Fourth of July with the Dodge City A’s. Notes he had a 5.54 earned run average in 26 innings in the summer of 2022 with the Dodge City A’s.
