2023: Made contributions both at the plate and on the mound for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Went 2-3 with a 6.69 earned run average. Was third on the team with 39 innings pitched. Made 11 appearances, including six starts. Also hit .200 with one hit, a double, in five at bats. Scored one run. Made his Cal State LA debut and allowed five hits and five runs over five innings in a relief appearance against The Master’s on Feb. 3. Made his first start against Montana State-Billings on Feb. 8. Made his best start of the season and didn’t allow a hit until the seventh inning of an 8-0 win in the seven-inning nightcap against Colorado School Mines on Feb. 18. Allowed only the one hit over 6 1/3 innings while walking five and striking out a season-high six. Also had six strikeouts and allowed only three hits and one run in six innings at Stanislaus State on March 25. Allowed only four hits and a pair of unearned run in a 12-2 win over Cal State San Marcos on March 18. Doubled in his only at bat against Colorado School of Mines on Feb. 19. Earned 2023 California Collegiate Athletic Association Spring Honor Roll recognition.

At Paradise Valley Community College: Was an honor student. Hit .278 with 22 hits in 79 at bats in 2022. Also went 2-0 with a 2.35 earned run average with three saves in 12 appearances as a pitcher.

At Millennium High School: Earned first-team All-League honors and All-State honorable mention.

Personal: Son of Carey and Heather Baugh. Majoring in business. Enjoys playing video games and fishing. Lists competing in the playoffs with Paradise Valley as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he is originally from Arizona.
