2023: Contributed once again as a member of the Golden Eagles’ bullpen in his final year with the program. Appeared in three games, all in relief, and had a 0-0 record with a 9.00 earned run average. Allowed one hit over four inning with nine walks and four strikeouts. Allowed only one hit and an unearned run over 3 1/3 innings in a 9-7 win over Cal State San Bernardino on April 18. Recorded a season-high three strikeouts. For his career, appeared in 13 games with two starts. Was 2-0 with a 9.61 earned run average over 34 2/3 innings. Struck out 33 and walked 46. Earned 2023 California Collegiate Athletic Association Spring Honor Roll recognition.

2022: Made big contributions to the Golden Eagles’ pitching staff in 2022. Had a 2-0 record with a 9.68 earned run average. Appeared in 10 games with one start and pitched a total of 30 2/3 innings. Picked up his first win in his first appearance for the Golden Eagles in a 6-2 victory over Montana State-Billings on Feb. 4. Pitched four scoreless innings of relief and gave up just one hit while walking five and striking out six. Pitched four scoreless inning or relief to pick up his second win in a 15-2 victory over Stanislaus State on Feb. 27. Allowed only one hit and walked three while striking out two. Made his first start and went three innings at Biola on Feb. 17. Earned 2021-22 CCAA All-Academic honors and 2022 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

At Hawaii-Hilo: Started a staff-high four games for the Vulcans in 2020 before the season was halted by COVID-19. Had a 1-0 record with a 7.62 earned run average. Named to the PacWest Conference Scholar-Athlete team.

At Phoenix College: Had 12 appearances on the mound, all out of the bullpen. Was 0-1 with a 4.20 earned run average. Also competed at McPherson College.

At Coconino High School: Competed in baseball and football. Earned Grand Canyon Region second-team honors as a pitcher and appeared in the AZBCA All-Star game as a shortstop. Earned Grand Canyon Region honorable mention as a quarterback. Earned the Fred Haus Athlete Scholar Award.

Personal: Son of Daniel and Leah Casados. Is pursuing his Master’s degree in business administration. Enjoys listening to music, hiking and traveling.
