2023: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles and was one of the team’s best players in his final year with the program. Earned first-team All-West Region honors from the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings and National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and second-team honors from the D2 Conference Commissioner’s Association. Also earned first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Appeared in and started 47 games for the Golden Eagles. Hit .341 with 63 hits in 185 at bats. Had three home runs, 20 runs batted in and a team-leading 47 runs scored. Was third on the team in batting average, second in hits and second in on-base percentage (.423). Went 2-for-4 with three runs scored in a season-opening 15-2 win over Providence Christian College on Feb. 2. Went 3-for-5 with his first home run of the season, a two-run shot, against Cal State San Marcos on March 19. Drove in three runs in the game. Went 3-for-5 with a solo home run against Cal State San Bernardino on April 25. Hit his final home run as part of a 3-for-5 day with three runs and three RBI in an 11-7 win over Chico State on May 5. Hit safely in 36 games and had 21 multi-hit games, including six three-hit games. Finished the season with a 10-game hitting streak. For his career, appeared in 108 games with 105 starts. Hit .325 with six home runs, 63 RBI and 98 runs scored. Also drew 42 walks and had an on-base percentage of .394.

2022: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles and was one of the team’s best hitters. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Was third on the team with a .322 batting average and was tied for second in runs batted in with 38. Led the team in runs scored with 37. Also had a pair of home runs. Was second on the team in hits with 66 and second in triples with five. Went 3-for-6 with two doubles, a home run and a season-high five runs batted in at Cal State Monterey Bay in the opener of a doubleheader on April 9. Also homered in the nightcap. Was 5-for-10 with three runs scored, seven RBI, two doubles and two home runs. Went 3-for-4 with four RBI at Biola on Feb. 19. Doubled in two runs to tie the game and scored the winning run on a wild pitch. Had a three-run triple in the second inning and scored a run in the fifth inning of a 5-1 win over Cal Poly Pomona on April 30. Had three hits in a game eight times and had a total of 20 multi-hit games. Had eight multi-RBI games.

2021: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

2020: Made important contributions for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in 12 games with nine starts. Hit .257 with nine hits in 35 at bats. Had one home run, five runs batted in and four runs scored. Made his Cal State LA debut and went 2-for-2 against Northwest Nazarene on Feb. 8. Went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in an 8-4 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Feb. 15. Went 1-for-4 with two RBI in a 9-7 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Feb. 16.

At UC Irvine: Appeared in two games for the Division I program and had a pair of at bats.

At Eleanor Roosevelt High School: Was the team’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2017.

Personal: Son of Johnny and Jessica Pacheco. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys playing and listening to music, snowboarding and playing video games. Lists going undefeated during his freshman year in high school as his most exciting experiences in sports.
