Cal State LA Athletics

2019: Had a strong second season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Had a best mark of 138-4 in the hammer throw and finished 25th at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Also had a best mark of 34-5.50 in the weight throw in indoor track and field. For her career, had best marks of 138-4 in the hammer and 97-8 in the discus. Earned a CCAA Spring All-Academic award.

2018: Had an impressive first season with the Golden Eagles. Had the team’s best mark in the hammer throw with a toss of 128-3. Also had a best mark of 97-8 in the discus. Finished 13^th in the hammer throw at the CCAA Championships.

At Antelope Valley College: Graduated Cum Laude and made the Dean’s List. Earned degrees in biology and math and science.

At Quartz Hill High School: Was the Golden League discus champion and earned first-team All-League honors.

Personal: Daughter of Darrell Augusta and Heidi Hrowal. Majoring in biology with a minor in microbiology. Enjoys weightlifting, painting and swimming. Lists winning the Golden League championship and getting the opportunity to compete for Cal State LA and having her entire team cheer her on as her most exciting experiences in sports.
