2020: Competed well for the Golden Eagles in outdoor track and field when the season was halted after three meets. Had a best mark of 5:29.28 in the 1,500 meters. Earned a 2020 California Collegiate Athletic Association Spring All-Academic Award. For her career, had best marks of 2:44.32 in the 800 and 5:32.63 in the 1,500.

2019: Made her debut with the Cal State LA track and field program. Placed 22^nd in the 1,500 meters at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Had best times of 2:44.32 in the 800 and 5:32.63 in the 1,500. Earned a 2018-19 CCAA All-Academic Award and a 2019 CCAA Spring All-Academic Award. Was one of the main contributing runners on the cross country team in the fall. Competed in six meets. Placed 93^rd in the CCAA Championships with a time of 26:05.60 over 6,000 meters and 172^nd in the NCAA Division II West Regional with a time of 24:45.4 over 6,000 meters. Had a best time of 20:25.18 over 5,000 meters at the Coyote Challenge on Sept. 21. Earned a 2019 CCAA Fall All-Academic Award.

At Stem Academy of Hollywood: Competed in cross country and track and field.

Personal: Daughter of Christian Rivas and Rocio Alvarado. Majoring in Anthropology. Enjoys spending quality time with family members. Lists making friendships, practicing and competing with the team as her most exciting experiences in sports.
