2021: Was on the track and field roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19 in her final year with the program.
2020: Was off to a strong start in outdoor track in a shortened season. Had best marks of 2:18.60 in the 800 and 4:48.69 in the 1,500. Her 800 time was No. 5 in the nation when the season was halted. Also competed for Cal State LA’s indoor track team and had the team’s best mark of 2:18.26 in the 800. That time is No. 8 all-time at Cal State LA. Was also a member of the distance medley team that had a best time of 13:09.13 that is No. 7 all-time.
2019: Had an impressive first year for Cal State LA’s cross country program. Was the team’s No. 2 runner for most of the season. Competed in all seven events. Finished 47th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 23:43.15 over 6,000 meters and was 92nd in the NCAA Division II West Region with a time of 22:32.4 over 6,000 meters. Had a best 5,000-meter time of 18:22.01 at the Coyote Challenge on Sept. 21.
At Riverside City College: Earned All-America honors and finished fourth in the state in the 1,500 meters and second in the state in the 800.
At Riverside Poly High School: Competed in cross country and track and field.
Personal: Daughter of Alberto and Blanca Morales. Majoring in computer information systems. Enjoys hiking, camping and reading. Lists winning conference with her teammates for the first time in 27 years at RCC and participating at the state meet as her most exciting experiences in sports.
