2022: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any meets for the Golden Eagles in her final year in the program.

2021: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19. Competed for the Golden Eagles in cross country in the fall. Ran in two races. Had best times of 25:35.9 over 5,000 meters and 29:46.4 over 6,000 meters.

2020: Was on the cross country roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

At Bell Gardens High School: Was a four-year CIF qualifier in cross country and a three-year CIF qualifier in track and field. Won a league championship in the 800 meters in 2018. Received the school’s Athlete of the Year award. Had best times of 2:30 in the 800, 5:36 in the 1,600, 12:36 in the 3,200 and 19:11 for three miles. Was on the Principal’s Honor Roll for seven semesters. Earned the AP Scholar-Award.

Personal: Daughter of Marco A. Vasquez Mora and Luz M. Pio Jimenez. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys listening to music, spending time with family and friends and volunteering in her community. Lists being able to run in the seeded race at the Woodbridge Cross Country Invitational as her most exciting experience in sports.
