Cal State LA Athletics

2020: Ran well for the Golden Eagles in her second year with the program before the outdoor season was halted. Had best marks of 13.30 in the 100 meters and 27.40 in the 200. Also competed during the indoor season and had best marks of 8.43 in the 60 and 27.97 in the 200. Earned a 2019-20 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic Award and 2020 CCAA Spring All-Academic honors.

2019: Competed well for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Had best times of 13.26 in the 100 meters, 27.27 in the 200 and 63.08 in the 400. Finished 18^th in the 100 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Also competed in indoor track and field and had best times of 8.36 in the 60 and 65.18 in the 400.

At Rancho Verde High School: Earned a high school Scholar-Athlete Award, a Varsity Athlete Award, the Congress of Future Medical Leaders Award of Excellence, the Riverside County Board of Supervisors Certificate of Recognition, the National Society of High School Scholars Recognition, the Standard of Excellence Honor Roll Award and the High School Certificate of Achievement. Competed in track and field and was also in the school’s marching band. Had best marks of 26.89 in the 200 meters and 62.31 in the 400.

Personal: Daughter of Shawnae Meeks. Majoring in pre-med biology. Enjoys running, drawing, painting and shopping. Lists doing her best, having fun and being able to meet and see the many professional athletes she looks up to as her most exciting experiences in sports.
