Cal State LA Athletics

2020: Was off to an encouraging start in her second year with the program before the outdoor season was halted after three meets in her final year with the program. Had a best mark of 119-5 in the hammer throw at the Long Beach State Beach Opener on March 7. Earned 2019-20 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic and 2020 CCAA Spring All-Academic honors. For her career, had best marks of 31-2.75 in the shot put and 124-9 in the hammer in outdoor track and 31-1.25 in the shot put in indoor track.

2019: Had a strong first season with the Cal State LA program. Had best marks of 31-2.75 in the shot put and 124-9 in the hammer throw. Finished 22^nd in the hammer throw at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Also competed on Cal State LA’s indoor track and field team and had a best mark of 31-1.25 in the shot put. Earned 2019 CCAA Spring All-Academic honors.

At Antelope Valley College: Was on the Dean’s List, graduated Cum Laude and was an Alpha Gamma Sigma permanent member. Finished eighth in the hammer and 13^th in the shot put in the So Cal Prelims. Had a best mark of 126-1 in the hammer throw.

At Rosamond High School: Was on the school’s Honor Roll. Competed in softball, volleyball, basketball, track and field, tennis and was a cheerleader.

Personal: Daughter of Rick Webb and Sharon Thomas-Webb. Majoring in criminal justice with a minor in Pan African Studies. Enjoys dancing and cooking. Also loves all things beauty, cosmetics and sports. Lists taking second place in the hammer throw at the conference championships as a sophomore, throwing overall and getting an opportunity to compete in indoor track and field as her most exciting experiences in sports. Notes she is a member of Cal State LA’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and holds the position of co-Vice President and Community Service Chair. Is also a member of the Co-Ed Criminal Justice Fraternity at Cal State LA and holds the position of Sergeant of Arms.
