Cal State LA Athletics

2015: Had a sensational season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Started 12 games for the Golden Eagles and compiled a 9-2 record with a 2.58 earned run average. Had 25 walks and 80 strikeouts in 83 2/3 innings. Led the team in victories, innings pitched, strikeouts and earned run average among starters. Earned second-team All-West Region from Daktronics and the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings. Earned third-team All-Region honors from the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association. Earned first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors and was named the CCAA Pitcher of the Week for the week of April 27-May 3. Allowed only three hits and two unearned runs in a complete-game victory over UC San Diego on April 30. Walked two and struck out eight in the 3-2 win. Limited Cal State East Bay to just five hits and one run while striking out a season-high 11 in a 7-1 victory on March 28, Also struck out 10 over eight innings in a 6-5 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on March 22. Hurled seven shutout innings in back-to-back starts against Sonoma State and at San Francisco State on March 1. Allowed only two hits and struck out nine in a 5-0 win over Sonoma State and gave up seven hits and struck out four in a 5-4 win at San Francisco State. Allowed eight hits and an unearned run in nine strong innings in a 2-1 win at Cal State San Bernardino on April 24. Went 6-0 over his last seven starts with a 1.96 earned run average and 54 strikeouts over 55 innings pitched. Was selected by the New York Yankees in the 26th round of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player draft. 
 
At East Central Oklahoma: Led the NCAA Division II in strikeouts with 112 in 2014. Compiled a 7-6 record with a 4.85 earned run average. Earned All-Great American Conference honorable mention. Made 16 appearances, including 13 starts, and led the team in innings pitched with 85 1/3 and complete games with 10.

At College of the Canyons: Earned second-team All-Conference honors.

At Canyon High School: Competed in baseball and football. Was the team Most Valuable Player and earned second-team All-League honors.

Personal: Son of Oll and Pam Flemming. Majoring in sociology. Played in the Alaskan Summer League (with the Oilers) and the Texas Collegiate League (with the BV Bombers).
