2015: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in 35 games and started 32 times. Hit .301 with 31 hits in 103 at bats. Had one home run, five doubles, one triple, 24 runs scored and 10 runs batted in. Collected a season-high three hits in four at bats in a 15-2 win over St. Katherine's College on Feb. 15. Hit a solo home run for his first career home run against Cal Poly Pomona on April 18. Had 10 multi-hit games. For his career, appeared in 91 games and started 63 times. Hit ..275 with 63 hits in 229 at bats. Had one home run, 11 doubles, 24 RBI and 39 runs scored.
 
2014: Made meaningful contributions once again in his third year with the program. Appeared in a career-high 28 games and started 22 times. Hit .256 with 22 hits in 86 at bats. Scored seven runs and drove in nine. Drove in a career-high three runs in a 9-8 win over UC San Diego on Feb. 9. Hit safely in 15 games and had multi-hit games seven times. Hit safely in five of his last six games and was 8-of-19 during that stretch. Played well defensively at second base and committed only three errors in 92 chances and had a .967 fielding percentage.
 
2013: Earned an expanded role for the Golden Eagles in his second season of competition. Appeared in 23 games and started seven times. Hit .273 with nine hits in 33 at bats, including a pair of doubles. Scored six runs and drove in five. Posted a career-high three hits in a 3-for-5 performances with two runs scored against Dixie State on Feb. 10. Did not make an error in 22 chances during the season.
 
2012: Saw playing time for the Golden Eagles and appeared in five games with two starts. Made his Cal State L.A. debut and got a plate appearance against California Baptist on Feb. 4. Earned his first start against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Feb. 23 and picked up his first hit and scored a pair of runs. Also started against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Feb. 24. Did not make an error in eight chances during the season.
 
2011: Did not compete for the Golden Eagles and was a red-shirt.
 
At St. Bonaventure High School: Was a four-year varsity starter. Earned All-Tri Valley League honors all four years. Received All-Ventura County honors as a sophomore, junior and senior and earned All-CIF honors as a senior in 2010. Was the team’s Most Valuable Player and earned the team award for best defense. Was St. Bonaventure’s Marine Male Athlete of the Year. As a senior in 2010, hit better than .300 and had five home runs, 26 RBI and 21 runs scored.
 
Personal: Son of Mike and Socorro Trejo. Majoring in business finance. Enjoys fishing and listening to music. Lists hitting a walk-off grand slam home run in a 5-4 win in high school as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he has three brothers, Mike, Steve and James and one sister, Alicia.
