Cal State LA Athletics

2015: Made contributions for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 17 games and started 11 times. Hit .283 with 13 hits in 46 at bats. Had one home run, nine runs scored and 11 runs batted in. Went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI against Saint Katherine College on Feb. 14. Had two hits and a season-high three RBI in an earlier game that day against British Columbia. Went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and two RBI in a 6-2 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 5. Had four multi-hit games. 

At Cal State Northridge: Appeared in 38 games as a freshman and made 21 starts at first base in 2013. Had 17 hits with three doubles and 10 RBI. Had three multi-hit games and drove in two runs in four separate games.

At Mira Costa High School: Was a four-year starter as an outfielder and pitcher. Earned Rookie of the Year honors in 2010 and helped team to a Bay League championship. Earned first-team All-League and All-Area honors as a senior in 2012.  

Personal: Son of Alex and Sheryl Lombardo. Is an undeclared major. Enjoys fishing and bodysurfing. Lists winning the Bay League championship in 2010 and being a part of that high school team as his most exciting experience in sports.
