Cal State LA Athletics

2015: Had a productive season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 28 games and started 20 times. Hit .348 with 24 hits in 69 at bats. Had one home run, five runs scored and 12 runs batted in. Hit a three-run home run in a 16-9 win over Cal State San Bernardino on April 25. Went 2-for-4 with two RBI in a 12-2 win against British Columbia on Feb. 13. Also had a pair of RBI in an 8-2 win over Sonoma State on Feb. 20. Went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and one RBI in his Cal State LA debut against California Baptist on Feb. 5. Had seven multi-hit games.

At University of Oregon: Spent two seasons with the baseball program.

At College of the Canyons: Had two successful seasons in junior college. Earned All-SoCal honors and Academic All-America honors as a sophomore in 2012 after hitting .379 with six home runs, 31 runs scored and 28 RBI. Also hit .339 as a freshman and earned All-Western State South All-Conference second-team honors. Was named a Junior College Strength and Conditioning All-American.

At Mira Costa High School: Competed in baseball and football in high school. Hit .417 as a senior with 14 RBI, eight doubles, two home runs and 21 runs scored. Named the 2010 Bay League Co-Most Valuable Offensive Player. Played tight end and defensive end in football. Earned two letters and helped team win a CIF championship. Was the 2010 Student-Athlete of the Year and an All-Area selection twice.

Personal: Son of Dean and Stacey Jemini. Completed his major in human physiology at the University of Oregon and is completing his Master’s degree in Kinesiology at Cal State L.A. Enjoys the beach, volleyball and swimming. Lists winning a CIF championship in football at Mira Costa High School as his most exciting experience in sports.
