2015: Had a second strong season for the Golden Eagles in his second and final year with the program. Started all 48 games and hit .263 with 47 hits in 179 at bats. Had two home runs, 20 runs batted in and 32 runs scored. Went 3-for-5 with a home run, three runs scored and a career-high tying five RBI in a 16-9 win against Cal State San Bernardino on April 25. Went 1-for-4 with three RBI against Azusa Pacific on March 10. Hit his first home run of the season in a 15-2 win over St. Katherine College on Feb. 15. Had 13 multi-hit games, including four three-hit games. Finished the season riding a six-game hitting streak. For his career, appeared in 95 games and started 94 times. Hit .263 with 87 hits in 331 at bats. Had five home runs, 45 runs batted in and 55 runs scored.

2014: Had a big impact for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in 47 games and started 46 times. Hit .263 with three home runs, 23 runs scored and 25 runs batted in. Shared the team lead in home runs and was second in RBI. Hit safely in 27 games and had 11 multi-hit games. Drove in a season-high five runs in two games. Went 1-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in a 10-4 win over Sonoma State on Feb. 15. Belted a grand slam home run to complete a seven-run second inning. Was 2-for-5 with five RBI at Cal State Monterey Bay on Feb. 23. Had two-run singles in the first and third innings of a 12-2 win. Went 3-for-3 with a season-high four runs scored in a 13-5 victory at Cal State San Bernardino on March 28. Also had three hits and drove in two runs at UC San Diego on Feb. 8.

At East Los Angeles College: Earned first-team All-Conference honors in 2013 after hitting .353 with an on-base percentage of .476. Had two home runs and 35 runs batted in. Also earned second-team honors as a freshman in 2012 after hitting .294.

At St. John Bosco High School: Earned Press Telegram honorable mention honors in 2010-11 and was also a scholar-athlete. Competed in baseball, water polo and wrestling.

Personal: Son of Jose and Cheri Peralta. Majoring in communications. Enjoys long walks. Lists winning as his most exciting experience in sports and says he loves the game of baseball.
