2009: Was a big contributor for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 10 games and started twice. Hit .267 with four hits in 15 at bats. Had three doubles, three runs scored and six RBI. Also made 12 relief appearances on the mound. Had a 1-0 record with a 6.75 earned run average. Had six walks and 17 strikeouts in 17 strikeouts in 16 innings pitched. Had a pinch-hit two-run double and scored a run at Grand Canyon on Feb. 14. Also had a two-run double in a 12-5 win over San Francisco State on Feb. 21. Had a double with a run scored and one RBI in a 16-6 win over UC San Diego on Feb. 28. Allowed one hit and no runs over a season-long 3 1/3 innings and got the win in a 10-7 victory over Concordia-Irvine on March 31. Didn't walk a batter and struck out three. Pitched three scoreless innings and struck out a season-high four against Cal State Dominguez Hills on March 26.

At Quartz Hill HS: Earned All-CIF Division II honors and first-team All-League honors in baseball.

Personal: Son of Dan and Lisa McBride. Is an undeclared major. Enjoys baseball and fishing. Lists hitting a walk-off home run in a semi-final playoff game as his most exciting experience in sports.
