2009: Had another solid season for the Golden Eagles in his second and final year with the program. Made eight relief appearances on the mound and went 1-0 with a 3.72 earned run average. Had seven walks and 13 strikeouts in 9 2/3 innings pitched. Also made one plate appearance and executed a successful sacrifice bunt. Pitched three scoreless innings to pick up the win in a 6-5 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Feb. 10. Walked two and struck out a career-high five. Didn't allow a run over his first five relief appearances covering 7 2/3 innings. Had a total of six scoreless outings. For his career, appeared in 30 games with 28 starts as a position player and hit .319 with 30 hits in 94 at bats. Had four doubles, 23 runs scored and 23 RBI. On the mound, made 18 relief appearances. Went 0-2 with a 7.45 earned run average. Had 21 walks and 25 strikeouts in 19 1/3 innings pitched.

2008: Was a versatile performer in his first year with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in 30 games and started 28 times. Hit .319 with 30 hits in 94 at bats. Also made 10 appearances on the mound, all in relief, and had an 0-2 record with a 7.94 earned run average. Started the team’s final 22 conference games. Hit safely in 10 of his last 12 games. Drove in a season-high three runs at San Francisco State on May 3. Picked up a season-high three hits with two runs scored and one RBI at Cal Poly Pomona on April 25. Allowed only one earned run in his last five appearance on the mound, covering 7 1/3 innings. Pitched a total of 11 1/3 innings.

At Santa Monica HS: Competed in baseball, football and basketball. Earned second-team All-CIF honors after hitting .370 with 12 steals. Was the Most Valuable Player of the Ocean League and listed as one of the Top 100 prospects in California.

Personal: Son of Jacques Beaver and Tracey Ramirez. Is an undeclared major. Enjoys sports. Lists the CIF Division 4 championship game as well as the playoffs as his most exciting experiences in sports.
