Summary

Biography

2008: Produced an excellent freshman season for the Golden Eagles. Was one of only two players to appear in all 51 games and started 50 times. Hit .320 with 66 hits in 206 at bats. Was second on the team with 44 runs scored. Hit safely in 37 of his 50 starts. Had a season-high three hits in six times. Scored a season-high three runs in games against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Feb. 7 and at Cal State San Bernardino on April 19. Drove in a season-high three runs and slugged his lone home run of the season against Cal State Monterey Bay on March 29. Handled 207 chances, primarily at second base, with only 11 errors.
 
At Gahr High School: Earned All-CIF honors and was a league Co-Most Valuable Player as a senior. Was a team captain and earned All-League honors as a sophomore, junior and senior.
 
Personal: Son of Kyung Jin Park and Hye Song Park. Majoring in civil engineering. Enjoys volleyball. Lists going 6-for-6 against South Torrance High School as his most exciting experience in sports.
