Cal State LA Athletics

2024: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in 10 games with three starts. Hit .412 with seven hits in 17 at bats. Had a pair of doubles, two runs batted in and three runs scored. Made his Cal State LA debut and picked up a pinch-hit double against Hawaii-Hilo on Feb. 4. Went 2-for-3 in an 11-2 win at Chaminade on Feb. 4 in his first start. Went 2-for-5 with one run scored in a 17-14 win at San Francisco State on April 27. Went 1-for-1 with a two-run double in a 16-7 win over La Sierra on Feb. 16. Hit safely in five games with two multi-hit games.

At Long Beach City College: Hit .333 in 126 at bats and shared the team lead with 31 runs batted in 2023. Earned All-Conference honorable mention. Also scored 12 runs and had 14 extra base hits. Appeared in 26 games and hit .156 in 45 at bats.

At Cypress High School: Earned second-team All-League honors as a junior. Team won league championships all four seasons.

Personal: Son of Bill and Jennifer Schwab. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys hunting, fishing, and snowboarding. Lists making playoff runs all the way through high school to junior college as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he likes spending too much money on hunting and fishing stuff.
