2026: Made two appearances out of the bullpen and also had 10 plate appearances for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Appeared in two games on the mound and pitched a total of 1 2/3 innings. Had a 0-0 record and a 43.20 earned run average. Also had 10 plate appearances and drove in a run. Made his season debut at the plate and went 0-for-1 in a 16-1 win at Hawaii Pacific on Jan. 30. Drove in a run with a fielder’s choice against Northwest Nazarene on Made his season debut and gave up four earned runs in four innings against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Feb. 15. Allowed two hits and four runs in 2/3 of an inning at Cal State Monterey Bay on March 6. For his career, made seven pitching appearances and had a 0-0 record with an 11.57 earned run average over seven innings. Had six walks and two strikeouts. Went 0-for-10 at the plate with one RBI. Earned a 2025-26 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award and 2026 California Collegiate Athletic Association Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.
2025: Made contributions to the Golden Eagles out of the bullpen in his second year with the program. Appeared in five games and had a 0-0 record with a 1.69 earned run average. Had four walks and two strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings pitched. Made his Cal State LA debut and allowed two unearned runs against Regis on Feb. 22. Got the final out of the sixth inning at Cal State East Bay on April 5. Pitched a season-long 1 2/3 innings and allowed two hits and no runs against Cal State San Bernardino on April 27. Closed out a 16-5 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills with a scoreless ninth inning on May 1. Had three scoreless outings on the season. Earned a 2024-25 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, 2024-25 CCAA All-Academic honors and 2025 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2024: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program.

At San Francisco State: Made seven appearances, all in relief, as a freshman for the Gators in 2023. Pitched a total of 9 2/3 innings and had five strikeouts. Pitched a season-high 2 2/3 innings and had a season-high three strikeouts against Cal Poly Pomona on April 29. Was part of a combined shutout against Chico State on April 11 with a scoreless inning. Pitched one inning and allowed only an unearned run in a win over Cal State LA on April 1. Had a 0-0 record with a 6.52 earned run average. Was named the program’s Freshman of the Fall. Earned 2022-23 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors.

At St. John Bosco High School: Was a Freshman of the Year and a team Most Valuable Player during his career. Was also a scholar-athlete three times and was an Honor Roll student.

Personal: Son of Jesse and Lori Paderez. Majoring in business management. Enjoys hunting and fishing and anything outdoors. Lists sweeping rival Mater Dei three games in a row during his senior year in high school as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he comes from a big family with two sisters and one brother.
