Cal State LA Athletics

2026: Made seven appearances on the mound for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Had a 0-0 record with a 9.64 earned run average in 9 1/3 innings pitched. Walked 12 and struck out 12. Made his Cal State LA debut and allowed one hit and one earned run in the final inning of a 6-3 win at Chaminade on Jan. 30. Collected a season-high three strikeouts in two innings at Cal State San Bernardino on March 20. Pitched a scoreless inning of relief against Cal Poly Pomona with one walk and two strikeouts. Allowed only one run over two innings at Cal State San Marcos on April 25. Allowed one or fewer earned runs four times.

At Glendale Community College: Had a 3-2 record with four saves in 15 appearances in 2024-25. Made 29 appearances over two seasons with the program. Earned second-team All-Conference honors in 2025.

At Roybal Learning Center: Earned All-League honorable mention as a freshman.

Personal: Son of Luis and Michelle Fernandez Sr. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys puzzles. Lists clinching a conference championship for Glendale CC as his most exciting experience in sports.
