Cal State LA Athletics

2025: Was one of the team’s top players in 2025 in his first year with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in 41 games with 37 starts. Hit .324 with 47 hits in 145 at bats. Had nine home runs, 33 runs batted in and 29 runs scored. Shared the team lead in home runs and was fourth in RBI. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Made his Cal State LA debut and hit a two-run home run at Vanguard on Feb. 1. Had a season-high four hits in five at bats in a 12-8 win over San Francisco State on March 14. Went 10-for-14 with a home run, four RBI, five runs scored, a .765 on-base percentage and a .929 slugging percentage and was named the CCAA and West Region Player of the Week. Went 2-for-4 with a season-high three runs scored and a season-high three RBI against Cal State Monterey Bay on April 12. Also went 2-for-5 with three RBI in a 14-9 win at Chico State on April 17. Had a run-scoring triple in the seventh inning and a two-run double as part of a game-deciding five-run rally in the top of the 11^th inning. Also hit a home run and scored two runs in Cal State LA’s CCAA Tournament game against Chico State on May 7. Hit safely in 27 games and had 13 multi-hit games, five three-hit games and one four-hit game. Had 10 multi-RBI games, including four games with three RBI. Earned 2025 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

At Moorpark College: Appeared in 40 games and hit .277 with 44 hits in 159 at bats in 2021-22.

At Granada Hills Charter High School: Earned first-team All-League and All-City honors. Competed in baseball and football.

Personal: Son of Alberto and Elaine Prado. Majoring in communication studies. Enjoys playing spike ball at the beach and spending time with family and friends. Lists hitting a home run in the CCAA Tournament game against Chico State as his most exciting experience in sports.
