Cal State LA Athletics

2025: Made one appearance on the mound for the Golden Eagles in 2025 in his first season with the program. Made his Cal State LA debut and tossed 2/3 inning at Biola on Feb. 8.

At Pasadena City College: Hit .297 with 22 hits in 74 at bats in 2023. Had six home runs, 18 runs batted in and 13 runs scored. Also appeared in seven games as a pitcher with two starts. Was 1-1 with a 5.40 earned run average. Recorded 10 strikeouts in 11 2/3 innings.

At Southwestern Academy: Competed in baseball, basketball, volleyball and soccer. Was the school’s Student-Athlete of the Year and Student of the Year. Earned first-team All-League honors in 2020-21 and was team Most Valuable Player in 2018-19.

Personal: Son of Fernando Garcia and Violeta Carrete. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys hiking and going to the beach. Lists all the time he gets to experience the sport he loves with awesome people as his most exciting experience in sports.
