Cal State LA Athletics

2019: Completed his Cal State LA career with a third tremendous season. Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors for a second straight season. Was third on the team in scoring with seven goals and three assists for 17 points. Appeared in all 23 games and started 17 times. Scored a pair of goals during Cal State LA’s NCAA playoff run. Scored the final goal in a 3-0 win over Midwestern State on Nov. 23 and scored the second goal in a 2-0 win over Cal State San Bernardino in the Super Region 4 championship match on Dec. 7. Was named to the CCAA Tournament All-Tournament team for a third straight season. Earned CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 honors for a second straight year. Received 2019-20 CCAA All-Academic honors and was also part of the CCAA 2019 Fall All-Academic Team. For his career, appeared in 66 matches with 46 starts for a total of 3,453 minutes. Had 21 goals and 12 assists for 54 points.

2018: Had a sensational second season with the Golden Eagles and led the team in scoring with 12 goals and four assists for 28 points. Earned first-team All-West Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches and second-team All-West Region honors from the D2 Conference Commissioner’s Association. Also earned second-team All-CCAA honors and was named to the CCAA All-Tournament Team. Scored all three goals in a 3-0 win at Concordia and earned CCAA Player of the Week honors. Also had two goals and one assist in a 4-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 25. Had the game-winning goals in a 2-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 4 in the CCAA Tournament championship game and in a 2-1 win over Chico State in an NCAA Division II first-round playoff game on Nov. 8. Also had the game-winner in a 2-0 victory over Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 6. Earned first-team CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 honors, 2018-19 CCAA All-Academic honors and CCAA 2018 Fall All-Academic honors.

2017: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in all 22 games and started 19 times. Finished sixth on the team in scoring with two goals and five assists for nine points. Was third on the team in assists. Scored a beautiful goal to open the scoring in a 2-0 victory over Cal Poly Pomona in the CCAA Tournament championship game on Nov. 5. Also had the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory at Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 6. Had two assists in a 4-1 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 28. Was named to the CCAA All-Tournament Team and earned CCAA 2017 Fall All-Academic honors.

At Cal State Bakersfield: Was a primary starter for the Division I program. Appeared in 19 games and started 10 times. Had one goal on the season. Scored in a 2-1 win against San Jose State on Oct. 8, 2016.

At Skedsmo VGS: Played for an academy in high school. Was the top scorer for LSK’s U19 team in his second and third years with the squad. Scored 37 goals in 45 games in 2014-15. Scored both goals in a 2-0 win in a semifinal of the national championships that put the team in the finals in 2014 for the first time in 26 years. Had six goals in 14 games in 2013.

Personal: Son of Bjoern and Ann Cathrin Lindahl. Majoring in business administration-marketing. Enjoys hiking, reading, watching movies and going to concerts. Lists winning two CCAA Tournament championships in 2017-18 and scoring two goals in the semi-final of the Norwegian U-19 Championship in a 2-0 win that sent the team to its first final in 26 years as his most exciting experiences in sports.
